Arlo Sans Type Design

Arlo Sans

Arlo Sans is a geometric sans serif typeface designed for a wide range of uses. The letterforms include subtle details and deviations that create a sense of movement. Wide counters and open apertures support clear legibility across weights and sizes. Arlo Sans was drawn with robust, reliable forms and a contemporary character, and the family was mastered for readability. More than 20 stylistic glyph alternatives are included. The OpenType format allows the typeface to be used on any computer. The design was inspired by the International Style.

Arlo Sans Type Design by Paul Robb has been highlighted as an innovative example of communication design by the A' Design Award. Arlo Sans Type Design was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2024. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade that celebrates excellent design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
