A Inc is a corporate identity program created for a company based in Tokyo. The identity is built around a single letter A formed from colored stripes. The stripes represent the energy and potential of every person involved with the company. The overlapping stripes show how the company takes shape through a diversity of preferences. The identity is applied to business cards and envelopes, and each person can select a favorite color. Envelope colors can be matched to recipients. The logo is embossed to keep the strong colors subtle.
A Inc Corporate Identity by Yu Morisawa was featured as a creative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award. A Inc Corporate Identity was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2023. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that celebrates superior design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
