Meet Up
Meet Up is a digital collage artwork that expresses peaceful coexistence with nature. The composition was created in Photoshop using vintage public domain images and purchased images of plants. A cut out image was placed within the scene, and the plants in the foreground were blurred to add a sense of perspective and to highlight the main visual point. Only the flowers at the center were colored, which adjusts the overall balance and contrast. The shadow of a plant suggests warm sunlight, birdsong and calm outdoor air.
Meet Up Collage Artwork by Kaoruko Iizuka was highlighted as a creative example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Meet Up Collage Artwork received the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2022. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is a highly prestigious international design award which rewards outstanding design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
