Diplomatic Relations
Diplomatic Relations is a logo created for the German Embassy in Vilnius. The design symbolizes the ties between Lithuania and Germany. Inspired by the tricolor national flags, three check marks were drawn for each country in the colors of its flag. The marks run as two parallel sides, like train tracks that move apart and then come together again. The red check marks are combined to represent friendship and unity. The colored symbol is placed on a white background and can be applied to stationery, outdoor advertising and corporate gifts. Repeating the symbol in a line forms a pattern.
Diplomatic Relations Visual Identity by Salvita Bingelyte was recognized as a creative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award. Diplomatic Relations Visual Identity earned the Silver A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2021. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade which celebrates outstanding design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
