Alishan Forest
Alishan Forest is a set of four seasonal event designs created for a national forest recreation area. Each event responds to a seasonal feature of the forest: cherry blossoms in spring, sacred trees in summer, maple leaves in autumn and sunrise in winter. The program includes a floral concert, an open-air cinema, a painting party in transparent houses and a sunrise picnic. All settings are built with transparent, wooden or natural materials. The aim is to renew the image of the forest and to encourage respect and coexistence with nature.
Alishan Forest Aesthetic Event Proposals by SHAN MAI FOOD was highlighted as an exceptional example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Alishan Forest Aesthetic Event Proposals earned the Silver A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2021. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that celebrates outstanding design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
