Yin Cheng Center
Yincheng Inc Center Office is a wayfinding signage system created for an office building in Nanjing, China. The design extracts the straight lines of the high-rise facade and repeats them as black vertical stripes that match the grid pattern of the interior walls. The signs are made of stainless steel with baking paint and milled grooves, and measure 1500 by 50 by 20 millimeters. Flat lettering is applied in black and white, while cut-out lettering uses imitation antique copper. Elements and sizes are reduced to emphasize function.
Yin Cheng Center Office Guide by Miao Jin Tang was featured as an outstanding illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Yin Cheng Center Office Guide earned the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2021. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize that celebrates outstanding design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
